Some of the players linked with Norwich City during the current transfer window have settled their futures, ahead of Friday night’s deadline.
Zimbabwe international striker Tino Kadewere had been linked with the Canaries earlier in the window but the 24-year-old signed for French giants Lyon last week in a deal reportedly worth an initial fee of around £10million.
Kadewere is the top scorer in the French second tier with 18 goals in 21 games so far this season and has returned to Le Havre on loan for the remainder of the campaign.
Norwich, Watford and Aston Villa were among the clubs linked to the forward in the French media.
Prior to the weekend, Spanish winger Adrian Embarba also settled his future, sealing a move to the Spanish top flight.
The 27-year-old left Rayo Vallecano for Espanyol in a deal reportedly worth around £8.5m, having registered 11 assists and seven goals in 23 games in the second tier so far this season.
City were linked with interest in the wide player earlier this month in the Spanish media, with Espanyol among the clubs linked, as well as Real Betis and West Ham.
Meanwhile, England Under-21 striker Eddie Nketiah will be staying with Arsenal after playing the full 90 minutes and scoring the winning goal as the Gunners won 2-1 at Bournemouth in the FA Cup fourth round on Monday night.
The highly rated striker had been linked with a host of clubs, including Norwich, Aston Villa and Bristol City, after his season-long loan at Leeds was brought to an early conclusion after five goals in 19 games but limited starting opportunities.
Nketiah also came on in a 1-1 draw at Sheffield United in the Premier League the previous weekend and, with Fifa rules only allowing players to feature for two clubs in a season, the youngster will be staying put for the rest of the season.
Another player linked was Belgian attacking midfielder Mike Tresor Ndayishimiye, with the 20-year-old impressing for Willem II in the Dutch top flight.
The Belgum U21 international was on loan from NEC Nijmegen but after eight goals and six assists in 18 games, Willem last week took up their option for a permanent deal for a reported fee of around £500,000.
Turkish winger Bilal Basacikoglu was also linked to Norwich, Leicester and Hull as a free agent following a mutual agreement to end his deal with Kayserispor.
However, the 24-year-old former Feyenoord and Heerenveen attacker will remain in Turkey after agreeing to join Trabzonspor until the end of the season, with the potential for a two-year contract to follow.
