Josh Murphy was happy to bring a bit of light relief to Norwich City's supporters, after three goals and three points were delivered against Reading at Carrow Road.
The 23-year-old winger was at his lively best in helping put the struggling Royals to the sword, earning City's first win in eight games and scoring three times at home for the first time since December.
In fact, City had only scored six goals in the seven games in front of their home supporters since that 3-1 win over Sheffield Wednesday.
At least Saturday's victory helped ease the 3-1 throwaway at Hull the previous weekend.
'It's been a long time since we had a win, it's been frustrating with a lot of draws and the 4-3 defeat at Hull was just a disaster that we should've won,' said Murphy, with City also finding themselves 3-1 up against Reading before an early second-half concession kicked off the customary Carrow Road tension.

'We made it hard for ourselves again here, which is the only disappointing thing. We won the game though, so that's all that matters.
'Games can change just like that. We were 1-0 down at Hull and getting dominated, and before you know it we're 3-1 up. Then all of a sudden, the game changes again.
'That's just football in the Championship for you. We were disappointed with that result but we knew we had to go to Barnsley and put in a good performance. We did that in the end, and here we put in another one. Everyone, from back to front, was good.
'It's good for the fans as well, because they've been to a lot of games this season at Carrow Road where it's been 0-0 and it's been frustrating, getting in front of goal and keep missing. But here we played well and took our chances well.

'To be fair, I think you'd take winning 3-2 all day long instead of just drawing games 0-0 – because it's boring for the fans, boring for everyone watching and it's frustrating for us with how many chances we create. So it's nice to put three away.'
Murphy played his part in what proved to be the winner – James Maddison slotting home from the penalty spot after being fouled by Royals goalkeeper Anssi Jaakkola; a chance teed up by the winger's counter and cross.
'I spotted him out of the corner of my eye and I think James knows he needs to break into the box more,' added Murphy.
'When I saw his orange boots and him running with his arm up, I knew if I gave it to him he'd probably put it into the back of the net. He got the penalty and tucked it away, so it was good.'
