Over the years Norwich City have had many a proud Welshman represent the club with pride.

In fact the man who instigated and oversaw the club's rise last year from The Championship to the Premier League Stuart Webber is as passionate a Welshman as you will find.

I bet, just like men, he was on cloud nine on Wednesday morning after Wales beat Hungary on Tuesday night to qualify for next summers European Championships.

Having not qualified for a major tournament for 58 years (yes, I know that's an eternity), we've now qualified for the last two European Championships and at the minute ourselves and England are the only two representatives from the Home Nations to automatically qualify.

However, it's great to see Northern Ireland and Scotland still with a chance via the play offs, add Mick McCarthy's Republic Of Ireland lads into the mix and I for one would love to see all five competing at the Euros next summer.

As I said last week last Friday I was in Baku and that's where I watched Teemu Pukki and his team mates create history when Finland qualified for a major tournament for the very first time, finishing second behind Italy in group J.

Luckily in our hotel bar they had the Finland v Liechtenstein game on and obviously being a former Norwich player I wanted to watch the game for one very simple reason - Teemu Pukki. He didn't disappoint, scoring his ninth and tenth goals of the campaign, and in doing so finished joint fourth top scorer one goal behind Israel's Eran Zahavi and Cristiano Ronaldo and just two goals behind the top scorer, England's Harry Kane.

Pukki incredibly scored as many goals as the whole Welsh squad in qualification and scored more goals than 19 countries that took part.

After a blistering start to the season he's now not scored since September 14, that's no goals in Norwich's last seven league games and I just get the feeling that these last few international games with so much at stake has distracted him somewhat. Now that they have qualified he can get back to what he does best and that's scoring goals for Norwich City.

MORE: Hanley desperate to be City's leaderIt's a trip up to Goodison Park tomorrow in yet another crucial game for Daniel Farke and his players.

I used to hate playing there, it's one of my least favourite grounds to play at because for some reason the pitch seemed so much smaller than every other pitch and you could hardly find space.

White Hart Lane was exactly the same, when I used to watch games from WHL on the TV the pitch always looked massive, but then when I played there it was like playing eleven a side on a five aside pitch.

The lads really could do with a break after six defeats in their last seven Premier League games and really could do with getting the monkey off their back and recording their first away win of the season. The longer this poor run goes on the more it will play on players' minds.

Everton have been very indifferent this season and after spending quite a bit on money the pressure is on their Portuguese manager Marco Silva.

Everton's home form hasn't been great and they've only won one of their last four games at Goodison, losing two of those four, so it could be just the right time for Norwich to make the trip up to Merseyside for the second time this season after visiting Anfield on the very first weekend of the season.

Fingers crossed they can take more points from the blue side of Merseyside side than they did the red.
