Ok, before we get to the betting odds for this afternoon’s game, let’s bring you a few figures.

Here are the facts: City haven’t won at Craven Cottage in their last 10 visits – eight in the elague, two in cup competitions. Of those games they have won eight.

(October 18, 2016)

Almost felt like a victory this given the formbook... and it should have been. City were 2-0 up at half-time thanks to two goals by Graham Dorrans – a 17th-minute penalty and a second four minutes before the break. City fans were pinching themselves, but reality bit inside 11 minutes when Stefan Johansen pulled one back in the 55th minute and then former Canary Chris Martin levelled. In a “Oops, we did it again” verdict, Alex Neil said: ““We lost concentration for 15 minutes and didn’t defend well enough to absorb the pressure we were under.”

So, to the game...

Referee: James Linington – Curiously, the Newport official was in charge of the 2-2 draw at Craven Cottage last season. Last time he saw the Canaries was when they beat Reading 7-1 at the back end of last season. He booked Jacob Murphy that day.
