Talented right-back Jordan Thomas has joined Norwich City after leaving Huddersfield Town.
The 17-year-old had featured regularly for the Premier League club's under-18s this season, and in some U23s games, but parted ways with the Terriers recently.
After playing the first half of Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Chelsea for City's U18s, he came on in the 61st minute of Monday's 1-0 win over Bournemouth at Carrow Road for the U23s.
Previously on the books at Charlton until U14 level, Thomas had trials at Millwall and Leicester before starting with Huddersfield at U16 level – so is well known to City's academy manager Steve Weaver, who previously held the some role at Town.
'He's a really good lad, settled in quickly, trained with us for a couple of days,' City U23s boss Matt Gill said.
'He was involved Saturday with the youth team and will be again this Saturday.
'He seems like a great lad and I'm looking forward to working with him.'
