Bartosz Bialkowski

The Polish keeper has been a key player for Town in recent seasons, winning the club’s player of the season award in 2016 and 2017.

Signed from Notts County in 2014, the agile shot-stopper soon took over from Dean Gerken as number one but was unable to keep the Canaries at bay during the Championship play-off semi-final battles at the end of that campaign.

Angus Gunn

Knows about the intensity of the East Anglian derby all too well, having watched his dad in action when growing up as a Norwich fan.

The Norfolk-born keeper has rejoined the Canaries on loan for the season from Premier League giants Manchester City, where he is under contract until 2020. The 21-year-old is reported to have impressed head coach Pep Guardiola.

Luke Chambers

The Blues skipper has been happy to fight fire with fire this week in response to Nelson Oliveira’s comments suggesting Norwich are the ‘bigger club’. Perhaps bringing up the three stars on the Town shirts wasn’t the wisest of ideas though.

An uncompromising defender who has made over 250 appearances for Town since joining on a free from Nottingham Forest in 2012.

Timm Klose

Klose has played an integral part in City’s revival this season. After hursting his leg after being clumsily challenged in a pre-season friendly at Cambridge, the Switzerland international wasn’t fit to return until the start of September.

When he did comeback, City went six games without conceding while the 29-year-old was on the pitch. Played in the Champions League for Wolfsburg.

Cole Skuse

Rugged central midfielder has made 180 appearances since joining Town from hometown club Bristol City in 2013.

Has only missed one league games so far this season and knows all about the intensity of the derby, having played every minute of the six games in recent seasons. One of Mick McCarthy’s reliable foot soldiers but little in the way of technical ability.

Tom Trybull

An unexpected success story of City’s season so far, signing on a free after leaving Dutch side Den Haag.

Scored a fine goal as a substitute in a 4-1 League Cup win over Charlton in August and then got his chance after the international break. Norwich went six games without conceding with him on the pitch and the dynamic and tenacious midfielder is yet to taste defeat.

David McGoldrick

Town’s key man is finally enjoying a good run of fitness to allow him to consistently show off his talents. Four of his goals have come in the league, where the 29-year-old is also credited with three assists.

McGoldrick has 41 goals to his name since joining on a free from Nottingham Forest in 2013, after a successful loan spell, from 146 appearances.

Nelson Oliveira

Goes into the derby on a high after coming off the bench to score a 96th-minute equaliser against Hull at Carrow Road last weekend. Groin issue has hampered his progress this season, scoring six in 10 games, including one on his return to the Portugal squad.

Signed from Benfica in a deal worth around £5m a year ago and has 17 goals in his last 32 appearances for City.
