Our Norwich City correspondent Paddy Davitt has posted his marks following the Canaries’ latest Championship loss
This is Paddy’s verdict on Daniel Farke’s troops after a dispiriting day in the north-west.
• Angus Gunn
Beaten by the power and accuracy of Adam Armstrong’s first time hit from outside the box. Frustratingly, this was a quiet shift bar a mad six-minute spell for his side prior to the interval. 6.0
• Ivo Pinto
No questioning his commitment to the cause, with a facial mask protecting a broken nose set for surgery. Set up Cameron Jerome for a golden early chance. 6.5
• Timm Klose
Beaten too easily by Darren Pratley for the cross that sparked the first goal. 6.0
• Christoph Zimmermann
On his heels for the split-second it took Gary Madine to burst near post to slot the opener. Performance level has dipped. 5.5
• Marco Stiepermann
Both goals sourced down his flank. Tough shift against Sammy Ameobi. 6.0
• Harrison Reed
Made some nice angles for the pretty passing. Defensive questions persist. Failed to close down Armstrong for the match clinching goal. 5.5
• Tom Trybull
Heavy workload looks to have sapped his mental and physical capacity. Fortnight’s break may do him a world of good. 5.5

• Wes Hoolahan
Slip passs teed up Jerome for his first chance. Another free kick picked out Yanic Wildschut but the magic dust is being rationed. 6.0
• James Maddison
Dipping free kick looked to have beaten Ben Alnwick as it cleared his far post. Gorgeous pass for Josh Murphy’s double chance. 6.5
• Yanic Wildschut
Energy and intent but another shift lacking in precision. 6.0
• Cameron Jerome
Denied by Alnwick then a minute later a woeful miscue from 14 yards. One goal in 15 league games now is not enough. Did roll in Murphy for his consolation. 5.5
City substitutes
• Josh Murphy
Excellent lifted finish for his goal. But should have scored 10 minutes earlier when he struck a shot at Alnwick then the rebound bounced wide. 6.5
(for Yanic Wildschut, 63)
• Marley Watkins
One rising shot brushed the side netting. Header at Alnwick. More productivity than most of the other forward-thinking players. 6.0
(for Tom Trybull, 63)
• Mario Vrancic
Picked a couple of passes that opened up the Trotters’ rearguard. 6.0
(for Harrison Reed, 68)
