Republic of Ireland U19 midfielder Simon Power will join Norwich City next month from League of Ireland side UCD.
The Irish Sun reported on Friday City have agreed to sign the 19-year-old, who is expected to move to Carrow Road on a deal until 2020.
The Students will receive a nominal fee up front for Power, with add ons included for the pacy wide man, who was reportedly out of contract at the end of the year.
Power made 10 appearances for UCD in his breakthrough season to help the Dublin club finish third in the Irish second tier.
The talented midfielder will link up with Cork-bred prospect Adam Idah in City’s development set-up.
The Canaries’ highly-rated Republic of Ireland youth international striker notched a hat-trick in Norwich’s recent FA Youth Cup win over Barnsley and also made his full debut for Matt Gill’s Under-23s earlier this month.
Power is set to become the fourth UCD player to move to England in the past 18 months after keeper Tom Murphy and midfielder Dylan Watts joined Premier League duo Everton and Leicester City respectively.
