Norwich City have been linked with a summer move for Olympiacos winger Giorgos Masouras.

The 25-year-old Greek international, who can operate on either flank or as a second striker, is reportedly being monitored by the Canaries’ extensive European scouting network.

Reports in the Greek media claim Masouras could be a potential target for the Championship leaders, after notching nine goals and one assist in 19 Super Liga games this season for his current club and Panionios. Masouras also featured in the Europa League last month for Olympiacos following his recent move to the Greek giants in January.

Masouras is under contract at Olympiacos until June 2022.

The attacker made his international debut in November and has been called up again for European Championship qualifers.

Greece have been drawn in Group J alongside Teemu Pukki’s Finland and have away games in the next few days against Liechtenstein and Bosnia.

City’s push for Premier League promotion has been powered by astute recruitment, with the likes of Pukki arriving on a free transfer signing last summer, and Emi Buendia being plucked from the Spanish second tier.
