The season is not yet over for promising Norwich City youngster Adam Idah, as the striker begins gaining international tournament experience tomorrow.
Idah is with the Republic of Ireland Under-17s, who begin their Uefa European U17 Championship Group C fixtures against Belgium on Saturday afternoon (5.30pm kick-off).
The youth tournament is being hosted in England, around a Midlands base, with Ireland's first game at Loughborough University Stadium.
Their following two games are at the FA's St George's Park headquarters in Burton, against Denmark on Tuesday and Bosnia & Herzegovina next Friday (both 1pm KOs).
Idah was the overall top scorer in European qualification, with eight goals, and scored 15 goals in 23 games during his first season with City's U18s this season – including a recent hat-trick against Tottenham. The Cork native was named U18s Player of the Season and Academy Player of the Season at the Canaries' end-of-season awards dinner.
