The German summer signing is returning to his autumn form after a brief injury break.

As Daniel Farke rotated all around him, Trybull played every minute following his Boxing Day recall in Birmingham.

That plus news Tom Trybull has a new Norwich City contract offer on the table, and the former Werder Bremen midfielder is feeling right at home in Norfolk.

'To be honest it I like this Christmas because you stay in shape, you have a lot of games and if you feel good and have some good performances, then it's much easier for everybody to show up again and again,' said Trybull. 'So I like it – but right now I also need some days to rest after a little bit!

'I'm very happy here because it was very easy from the beginning for me to settle in. I came here into a very good team and they took care of me.

'I'm getting better and better with each and every game, and I just want to help the team so that everybody is happy with our performances as a team – I just want to be a part of it.

'The injury was not easy because I needed that break too, and it was not possible I could play anymore because I had some problems with my hip.

'Then after that it was not easy to sit on the bench because everybody wants to play and I want to help the team.

'But I think the coach had a very good moment to want to put me back into the team in Birmingham, I felt very good and I'm very happy to be back and show what I can do.'

Trybull's return is among others that have brought an upturn in results – one City hope will lift the mood around the club.

'I think the crowd did a good job too,' added Trybull of City's Millwall comeback, instigated by his diving header shortly after half-time.

'When the second half starts, everything is possible because the team also showed a good reaction against Sheffield Wednesday at home.

'We just have to use our chances and if we play further on like this with this style, we will get our chances and it's then just a question of time when we'll score.

'We got those good chances and scored two times, and with the crowd together it was a very good feeling on the pitch as well, because they stayed with us and it was a good evening for everybody I think.

'I'm not normally in the box and not a typical scorer. I was a little bit lucky for sure but I think the header was not too bad.

'So seven points from nine is a good run and to be back after a not so easy run that was a little disappointing for us, it's a good start again and now we have to keep going.'
