Group Football Editor Paddy Davitt has posted his marks following the Canaries’ 0-0 Premier League stalemate.
Here is Paddy's verdict on Daniel Farke's men, who picked up a first away point of the season in now customary testing circumstances, due to fresh injury concerns.
- Tim Krul
Got his angles right to foil Dominic Solanke. Easier stop in the second half from Arnaut Danjuma but so commanding and injects added confidence into a youthful backline. 7
- Max Aarons
Not quite as prominent as we tend to see him in an attacking sense. Suffered cramp late on following his recent exertions for club and country after his own injury layoff. But part of a defence who underlined they can keep the back door shut. 6
- Ibrahim Amadou
One lapse when attracted to the ball for Solanke's first half chance. Thereafter, imperious when balls came into the box aerially. Mistimed a headed chance from Emi Buendia that would have capped a superb display after some shaky recent moments. 8
- Ben Godfrey
Early indications suggest his second half injury scare prompted only a precautionary departure. Daniel Farke hailed his leadership role while on the park and he more than held his own against Callum Wilson. 7
- Jamal Lewis
Early booking left him exposed against Harry Wilson but stuck to his task. Constant overlapping threat in the first half especially. 7
- Alex Tettey
Started in a holding role. Finished at centre back. Did not look out of place in either position. Huge experience proved invaluable. Added a welcome touch of steel to City's play without the ball and constantly cajoled those around him. 8
- Emi Buendia
One of those nearly shifts. Still the odd cheap turnover in dangerous parts of the pitch but teed up both Tom Trybull and Teemu Pukki for arguably City's two best sighters of goal. 7
- Kenny McLean
Skied over a late cutback from Todd Cantwell. Seemed to enjoy the extra insurance of having Alex Tettey alongside him. Could have no complaint at his booking. 7
- Moritz Leitner
Found some promising positions in a more advanced role but not quite the zip or the crackle to his work at the sharp end of the pitch. Good appetite for defensive work when required, 6
- Todd Cantwell
Another just on the periphery of making things happen for the most part. Fizzed in a cutback for Kenny McLean. Caught on his heels a touch for Danjuma's second half chance. 6
- Teemu Pukki
Denied by a fine low parry from Aaron Ramsdale. A willing outlet as usual but his eagerness to rectify a heavy late touch earned him a booking. 7
City substitutes
- Tom Trybull 7
Unexpectedly early cameo from the bench. Threw himself bravely in the way of a fearsome long range shot. Unleashed one of his own that veered just wide, with Ramsdale at full stretch.
(for Ben Godfrey, 50)
- Onel Hernandez n/a
(for Todd Cantwell, 81)
- Dennis Srbeny n/a
(for Moritz Leitner, 90)
