Neil Adams sat down with the club's official site to give his thoughts on the likes of Jordan Rhodes and Felix Passlack who were part of Daniel Farke's Championship title-winning squad.

There was also a number of the club's own players who departed on loan in a quest for regular football.

- JORDAN RHODES - on loan from SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY

"Jordan has been phenomenal, in terms of genuinely wanting the team to do well even when he wasn't in the team. That's quite rare in professional football. He encouraged the younger players and worked with them.

"On the field, Teemu Pukki has scored so many goals and we've had a top, top class striker in Jordan who's not been playing as many minutes as you'd expect. What a player to have in the squad as he always scores goals. Everyone can't speak highly enough of him."

- FELIX PASSLACK - on loan from BORUSSIA DORTMUND

"Felix is unfortunate that he came up against Max Aarons in his position - Max has had a phenomenal season so it was always going to be tough for Felix.

"The main thing was that we made sure we kept the link with Dortmund and kept them fully informed of his statistics and his training load and I think the experience, more than anything, will help Felix. He's been part of a group that has just won the Championship."

- JAMES HUSBAND - FLEETWOOD

"James has played a lot of games at Fleetwood as we knew he would. He's a competent player and every time he's been fit, he has played. Injury made him miss a few games but they were keen to renew his loan in January.

"He had a good, solid, consistent season. He needed to be playing and it's ended up being a very good loan for all parties."

- SEAN RAGGETT - ROTHERHAM

"Sean had terrible luck. He went to a club in the Championship and it was the level he needed to be playing at to give himself the best chance of coming back and competing in our squad.

"He got into the team early on and was playing really, really well. Unfortunately, he picked up the injury which kept him out for most of the season. I feel really sorry for him because he was playing really well. We need to get him back fit and playing football as soon as possible."

- MARCEL FRANKE - SV DARMSTADT

"Marcel has played every game when he's been fit. Bundesliga Two is a good level and he's has a really strong season with them. He looks a really comfortable, confident player.

"He's in a difficult situation, similar to Sean, because the club at the minute are absolutely flying. Ben Godfrey and Christoph Zimmermann have been outstanding and on the substitute's bench, you've got Timm Klose and Grant Hanley, two top-class international footballers. It's important for Marcel to be playing regularly and he's done himself no harm at all this season."

- BEN MARSHALL - MILLWALL

"I watched Ben a few times, the one at Elland Road (against Leeds) was important at the time for us. He had an excellent game there and scored the penalty.

"He's played a dozen or so games up there, had a little injury problem, but is another player who's been behind someone here - Emi Buendia in this case.

"We had to get him some time out somewhere else and Millwall was perfect for him. They knew him and it was a successful opportunity for him."

- TIMI ODUSINA - AFC FYLDE

"I was at the National League play-off final and I'm going to the FA Trophy final so two Wembley games for Timi, it's fantastic.

"Timi has got really good experience at Fylde. He did really well for the Under-23s and we felt he needed to go and play senior football. Fylde are a good club with a fantastic stadium, he started really strongly and got man-of-the-match on his debut.

"He tailed off a little bit and lost his place in the team, which can happen for a young player. He got himself back in and did well and was on the bench at Wembley. Hopefully, he manages to get on this weekend against Leyton Orient."

- MASON BLOOMFIELD - AFC FYLDE

"It was also a good experience for Mason at Fylde. We laugh about it with the chief executive at Fylde as he says the minutes he played for them were among the best they've seen.

"He broke both bones in his arm in his first game and that was it. The bones didn't heal as quick we thought. It was a real shame for him but we're sure they'll want to take him next season. We'll be looking to get as many games for him next season so he can show us what he can do."

- CALEB RICHARDS - FC UNITED and TAMPA BAY ROWDIES

"Caleb is flying. We put him on loan at FC United of Manchester knowing he was better than that level but we felt he needed some games to prove to us he could do what we knew he could.

"It made sense to send him to the Rowdies with the link we now have with them. They've played eleven games and haven't lost one of them. He's played virtually every minute so far.

"The commentators have named him the 'Silent Assassin'. He's not one of the more vocal players and I presume he's started to put his foot in a bit. It's brilliant when you get a nickname like that after just eleven games, it shows you're having an impact."

- SIMON POWER - DORDRECHT

"He took a couple of weeks to settle and then came on a sub, made a big impact and started the next one. He had one of those games where everything went right for him. He scored, made an assist against Ajax's second team.

"He got an Republic of Ireland U21 call-up off the back of it but unfortunately got injured and didn't play. He got himself back fit towards the end of the season and hopefully he continues to keep fit when we get into the new season.

"We've got a good link with Dordrecht. Obviously, Savvas (Mourgos) was there earlier on in the season but picked up an injury."

- ANTHONY SPYROU - WREXHAM

"It was a tough loan, probably didn't work out as well as we wanted. They were playing well to be fair and it's difficult to barge your way into a team doing well. But he gained good experience at a big club and hopefully that will stand him in good stead."
