It's unlikely he will feature for Norwich City again but Steven Naismith certainly seems to have found his form on loan, winning the Ladbrokes Scottish Premiership Player of the Month award.

The 32-year-old is set to spend the entirety of the final year of his Canaries contract with Hearts, where he spend the second half of last season, and has scored nine goals in 13 games so far.

The £8.5million January 2016 signing from Everton only managed eight goals in 48 games during a disappointing spell with City but has since returned as a regular in the Scotland squad.

He scored a late consolation during a 3-1 friendly defeat to European champions Portugal in Glasgow on Sunday and has two goals in four games for his country so far this campaign, also scoring against Albania – taking his overall tally to nine goals in 49 caps.

Five goals in five games for Hearts during September, including a hat-trick against St Mirren, was enough to earn Naismith the monthly award.
