Daniel Farke is not fooled by Cardiff City's stumble in the Championship promotion stakes.
The Bluebirds have picked up one point from the last three league games to hand the initiative to Fulham in the race to reach the Premier League.
Farke felt his side were the equal of the Cottagers in a 2-0 Good Friday defeat but it was the 4-1 hammering at QPR that provides a more pertinent parallel this afternoon.
Norwich were second best in the aerial bombardment against QPR. Any repeat against Neil Warnock's side would spell danger.
'Cardiff is in position one when it comes to scoring goals from set pieces,' said Farke. 'When you are greedy and aggressive we have shown we can defend set pieces.
'The important thing is we will have a lot of possession and if that is the case then it is much harder for them to threaten us. That is how we can control the game. When they do get those opportunities we have to be awake.
'The style of Cardiff is a little bit different to Fulham or Aston Villa but they are in the chase for promotion. To only pick up one point from their last three is not what they wanted but when you play Sheffield United, Wolves and Villa it is not the easiest task. We know they are a strong squad who are very good at defending. I think they concede less than one goal a game on average. In this game it will be more tricky to create chances.'
Farke accepts Cardiff will arrive in must-win mode, after falling out of the top two.
'Fulham look on fire. I think it is 21 games unbeaten so there is a pressure on Cardiff if they want automatic promotion,' he said. 'They will be desperate for the three points. For us, it is a third home game in a row against this type of opponent.'
That sense of desperation will require a strong official at Carrow Road, with City due to renew acquaintances with Tim Robinson for the first time since awarding a 'phantom' penalty in the recent -3 away defeat at Hull.
'It was not only the penalty but some other decisions but for me it is not a topic,' said Farke. 'The referee goes out to have his best performance. He himself knows it wasn't his best day. That is quite normal. Sometimes I don't have my best day or my players. We all make mistakes. No concerns from my side.'
