Norwich City look the real deal for Bristol City captain Bailey Wright, after the Canaries dented his side’s own Championship promotion hopes.

The Robins led twice but lost 3-2 to suffer a first league in 14 and Wright admitted Daniel Farke’s squad have got something going after another pulsating home comeback.

“They’re a good side and have got their quality and can hurt us,” he said, speaking to the Bristol Post.

“It’s a tough place to come - with the atmosphere. You can feel the change of momentum there and we didn’t deal with that as best as we’d hoped.

“What you saw was probably two teams that are battling it out at the top of the division.

“Obviously Norwich is top of the league and you can see why. They are a good side and I think we gave them a good test.

“We’re frustrated with ourselves that we had the lead twice and let it slip and maybe we weren’t up to our usual game.

“But I think we’ve got a lot of positives we can take from it and a lot of things we’ll learn from. But we’re going to dust ourselves off, recover and be ready to go again. Although we’ve lost, nothing changes. We keep doing the same things. There’s a lot of twisting, turns and changes to come.

“This is one of the toughest leagues going. You could see what a competitive game it was and every game is going to be like that from now to the end of the season. They’re going to be tough games and we’re looking forward to that.”
