Tettey will embark on his ninth season with the Canaries from August, after the club announced on Wednesday a one-year extension for their longest-serving player. The 33-year-old sat down with City's official youtube channel to recall some of the abiding images, games and triumphs since he first arrived from French football.

August 25 2012 - Signing

A young, young me. Signing for Norwich in 2012. The hair is a bit shorter and the body looks like a boy. A very, very happy day for me to be signing for a Premier League football club. I was extremely happy.

September 26 2012 - First goal

My first 90 minutes in the cup (against Doncaster). I don't know how I managed to score a goal but I managed it on my full debut. Did I expect to score? No.

March 22 2014 - Sunderland rocket

A good game. The crowd was very loud at that time. They were really loud in this game and it was great to score a goal. Someone told me recently as a footballer you can score many goals but there is always one in particular which people really associate you with and it is this goal. Everyone played their part that day. Very nice. I don't really watch it back although I have it sent to me now and again. That is more one for when you stop playing and it really sinks in.

May 25 2015 - Wembley

The joy of being available for 48 games instead of travelling forth and back (for Norway) and playing Saturday, Tuesday or Saturday, Wednesday. It all came out on that day when we managed to beat a team we had not beaten during that season. One of my happiest days in my life, to be fair. There was a good feeling among the lads. A very experienced group. In the morning, when we came to the team meeting I came in with loud music and Seb (Bassong) was doing his thing. It was more a feeling that we are ready and we are going to do this thing. And then it happened.

December 19 2015 - Manchester United match winner

Back in the Premier League and scoring against one of my favourite teams. At Old Trafford. A good day, good game, good win. Maybe unexpected. But in football if you work for something it can happen.

November 10 2018 - He's the greatest dancer

I was really happy we could win this game (4-3 against Millwall) and it felt like all the goals had come in the 98th, 99th minutes. All the boys were jumping on top of each other, not me, but then the celebration music came on in the stadium and I just started shaking my body. It made a photograph that went everywhere. A good one to have at home when I don't play any more.

May 5 2019 - A title winner

To go to Wembley and win you are very happy but that is for third place. To win a title means you are number one. You have won something. You are the best team in that league in that season. So it is huge. Once again, one for when I don't play football any more I can say I won something from my playing days in England. All the work and all the training that season paid off.

September 14 2019 - Captain fantastic

To beat that team with the team we had, something like 10 injuries. It is a game we won't forget. I had played (Manchester) City before and we drew 0-0 at home and that was the closest I had ever come to winning at home. I have won away but this was only the ninth game I think of this season. It was not like they came here wanting to give us something. A good day.
