EASTERN COUNTIES: There is a full programme of action in the Eastern Counties League, with the pick of the matches at Little Melton, where Crusaders put their unbeaten Division One record on the line against early pacesetters Stowmarket, who have won all three of their matches.
Lakenham Hewett are in league action in Eastern Counties Two when they travel to Dereham on Saturday.
After a tough first league game last week, ending in a 22-0 defeat to Mistley, Lakenham are hoping for a convincing win against a Dereham team that finished bottom last season.
It is an exciting time at Lakenham, with their game plan starting to take effect and new players impressing alongside the well established squad.
Thetford will have a point to prove when they entertain Hadleigh in their first home league fixture of the new campaign.
Last week they were on the wrong end of a real trouncing, losing 101-0 at Ipswich YM.
