More than 1,700 Norwich City fans were in attendance as their side beat Stoke 3-0, and they were jubilant in the away end.

Goals from Josh Sargent, Gabriel Sara and Ashley Barnes extended the gap to seventh to three points and gave those away fans their first win to savour for more than two months in the process.

We spoke to some of those fans to gauge their thoughts on the Canaries' play-off hopes, who impressed them in Staffordshire and what made it such a complete away day.

Will and Ted: Brilliant win, long overdue away win. We were there at Hull on the Friday night in January, that feels like a long time ago. Stoke weren't brilliant, but Norwich did a great job.

It's been a great day. It's the first time we've seen a comfortable away win in a long time. Back at Hull it felt like we got away with one, but this is the first time in a while it felt like we were in control for 90 minutes away from home.

Kenny McLean had a brilliant game, with the two passes for the two goals. Stacey was rock solid, Sainz had a pretty decent game, and Sargent did what he does best again. Barnes alongside him looks like a completely different player to what he was without him back in November.

It was an all-round very solid team performance, but Kenny, Sargent, Sainz, Stacey and Sara. All the 's's again!

Before the game you were thinking with both Hull and Coventry not playing that it would be nice to open that gap up. Obviously the goal difference was a positive as well, because it could come down to that at the end of the season.

We've got a relatively favourable run-in, and you'd say that Norwich were probably the most likely to finish sixth, and maybe even catch West Brom. Feeling pretty up-beat after that, to be honest.

Louis: We're finally firing on all cylinders. Sarge seems to be scoring every week. Sainz is doing really well and he seems to be on the right page now. Today's result certainly puts some pressure on Hull and Coventry. Good stuff.

Stoke aren't very good, let's be honest. It's one of the worst sides we've seen this year, but fingers crossed the away struggles are behind us now. We've got some big games coming up.

McLean was brilliant, as he has been all season. He's taken that captaincy role brilliantly, and been amazing all season. But everyone played well today, I thought.

We'll beat Ipswich at home.

Thomas, Josh and Theo: Amazing, brilliant. We could have has five or even more! The second half went a bit flat, but you can't complain about a 3-0 win away, it's the perfect day.

Stoke haven't been on the best run of form, so it's a game we should be winning. A lot of the away games that we've drawn or lost were games that we should have won, so it's good that lessons have been learned.

It's massive to have that gap to Hull, considering that them and Coventry have got to play each other. The only tough tests we've got are Leicester and Ipswich. Once we pass them it's a good run to the end, so keep the momentum going and I think we'll make sixth.

Sorensen was quite good today in general. He came off with the injury, but he was solid defensively and combines well with Gibson at the back. He was really good today, our defence was really good.

Always impressed with Barnes' work rate, and Stacey was very good as well. No complaints, for once!
