The latest edition of the Pinkun podcast set the scene for the eagerly-anticipated return of the East Anglian derby as Norwich City head to Ipswich Town on Saturday.

Host Connor Southwell was joined by Paddy Davitt and Samuel Seaman for episode 565 of our long-running podcast ahead of a titanic clash at Portman Road.

The panel discussed the Canaries dominance in this fixture dating back to 2010, and reflect on some of the memorable moments.

From Paul Lambert's red card in the last viewing of this neighbourly duel in 2019 to those epic play-off tussles in the Alex Neil era.

Or further back when Lambert was green and yellow, not blue, and plotted two thumping wins in a march to the Premier League in 2010/11.

Kieran McKenna is now bidding to emulate Lambert's achievement by guiding Ipswich to back-to-back promotions from League One.

Town go into this weekend's derby 21 points clear of David Wagner's squad. But does that count for anything on the day, and what type of game is in store?

We also get the view from over the border with the East Anglian Daily Times head of football, Mark Heath.

The panel nail their colours to the mast with some surprise predictions, and briefly reflect on another encouraging display in Wednesday's 3-1 league win over the Owls.
