After a midweek defeat and an AGM, the pressure is on for Norwich City to prevent the frustrations growing further as they travel to Bristol City.

A 3-2 defeat to Watford in midweek was followed by a fiery AGM that involved comments from Delia Smith and Michael Wynn Jones that angered some supporters. With head coach David Wagner under pressure - it feels like the whole club could use a victory at Ashton Gate today.

Norwich are hoping to avoid a 10th defeat in 15 matches this lunchtime against Liam Manning's side knowing the pressure is on - with City currently sitting seven points outside the top six and just three ahead of Huddersfield in 21st.

The victory would see them leapfrog the Robins but remain in the bottom half - with Middlesbrough in 12th sitting four points ahead of them in the table.

Wagner is boosted by the return of injured trio Angus Gunn, Adam Forshaw and Jon Rowe for this afternoon's fixture - with the trio having rejoined training successfully in the last few days.

Hwang Ui-jo has become the latest member of City's squad to succumb to injury with the South Korean international suffering a hamstring injury that is likely to see him sidelined until the end of the year.

Norwich remain without Grant Hanley, Jacob Sorensen, Ben Gibson and Josh Sargent - but they are set to return this month.

City's last game on the road saw them beat Cardiff 3-2 courtesy of a late comeback, but that is their only win in the last six away matches. David Wagner has never recorded a league win or goal at Ashton Gate in three attempts with Huddersfield (suffering two 4-0 defeats) and Norwich (a 1-0 defeat in February).

Norwich have already recorded a victory at Ashton Gate this season however, winning 1-0 back in August in a Carabao Cup second round meeting.

1,100 Norwich supporters are making the trip to Bristol in hope of seeing an improved performance and result from their side.

Norwich born Manning replaced Nigel Pearson last month and has won one, drawn one and lost one in his three games in charge of the Robins so far.
