Kellen Fisher starts for Norwich City this afternoon as David Wagner makes four changes for the Canaries' Championship trip to Sunderland.
Fisher replaces Jack Stacey at right-back, while Adam Forshaw comes into the Norwich midfield instead of Marcelino Nunez. Hwang Ui-jo starts instead of Adam Idah up front, and Christian Fassnacht comes in for Onel Hernandez.
Club captain Grant Hanley is back in training after recovering from a long-term achilles injury, but will build game time with Alan Neilson’s under-21s before returning to first-team contention. That will start on Monday, when the young Canaries face Stoke City in Staffordshire.
Jacob Sorensen is also continuing to build his fitness, having sustained a pelvic injury in pre-season and missed the start of City’s Championship campaign. He played for the development squad as they beat Charlton Athletic 5-0 during the international break.
Ashley Barnes (knee ligaments) could return before next month’s international break, while Josh Sargent is still expected to be absent until the new year with an ankle ligament issue.
