Former City player Ian Henderson could find himself playing against the Canaries in what is sure to be a highly-charged clash at Colchester later this month.
The 24-year-old has been training with the U's, with manager Aidy Boothroyd confirming that he will sign once clearance has been received by the Turkish FA. Henderson, from Thetford, has returned to England following an unsuccessful short-term spell with Turkish side Ankaragucu.
Boothroyd wants Henderson, who made 79 City appearances before leaving in 2007 - as a replacement for loan player Kevin Lisbie.
