It was a fantastic result for the club after James won the County Championships and went on to be placed third in the Regional Championships, held in St Ives in Cambridgeshire.
And James has finished all that hard work by becoming third in Britain, only missing out on the final by one point after losing in the last four 15-14.
Coach Andrew Sowerby is hoping James will follow in the steps of the Academy's Anna Bentley, who reached full international status.
