Opportunity to buy entire street of houses in Norwich - if you’ve got a spare £2.3m

It’s an opportunity that sounds like something from a game of Monopoly.
A new listing on property website Rightmove is advertising a 42-bedroom terraced house up for grabs - made up of seven individual houses with a price tag of £2.3m.
The properties in Nicholas Mews off Nelson Street were purpose built as student accommodation around 20 years ago and each house has six bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen and a living room.
Five of the houses are arranged over two storeys and the other two are arranged over three storeys, with communal gardens to the rear.
Investors can look forward to potential returns of £425 per calendar month per room, according to the listing, meaning the investment could be paid off in just over ten years.
Nick Taylor, chairman of the Norwich association of estate agents Hadley Taylor, said: “This is a really rare opportunity. The only other purpose built student accommodation is on campus and it is particularly unusual to find all these properties in one lot.
“The properties are very recently built and represent a good long term investment, especially with interest rates as they are at the moment.
“The houses are perhaps best suited to a serious investor specialising in student accommodation, rather than a private individual.”
The properties are around twenty minutes walk from the city centre and have nearby bus connections to the UEA and the hospital.
All of the houses have double glazing, gas fired central heating and off road parking.
However, if you do not fancy spending your £2.3m on the Nicholas Mews houses, here are a few other things you could spend the cash on:
• Two - Georgian country houses in Burnham Market with five double bedrooms and a gravel path driveway
• 10 - cottages in Dickleburgh
• Three - Darren Huckerbys in 2003
• 1,216,931 - kilogrammes of turnips
• 2,260.34 - bitcoins
