A copy of the letter is fixed to the cross marking Jamie McCann's grave in Cromer cemetery.
Its contents would have meant the world to lifelong Liverpool Football Club fan Mr McCann, 42.
The devoted and popular divorced father-of-two was found dead in Thetford Forest last month. He had been suffering from depression.
His death sent shockwaves through his home town of Cromer, where he was especially well known in football circles.
The letter was written to Mr McCann's family and friends by Jürgen Klopp, manager of Liverpool FC, expressing the club's sorrow at his death.
It ends with the poignant sentence: 'You'll Never Walk Alone' – the name of Liverpool FC's emotion-charged anthem.
Written in response to an email sent to the club by one of Mr McCann's close friends, John Davies, it arrived the day after more than 200 people packed Cromer Parish Church for Mr McCann's funeral where You'll Never Walk Alone began and ended the service.
The letter's arrival has brought solace to his grieving family, including parents Ann and Ray McCann, of Links Avenue, Cromer.
'John told them what a huge fan Jamie had been since he was a boy and how he loved his two daughters, Poppy and Lily,' said Mrs McCann. 'His girls came first, then Liverpool came second.
'I feel so proud to think he (Klopp) would take time to do this.'
Jamie's father added: 'Klopp's the same with his players – he always gives them big hugs. He's brilliant with people. It just shows how compassionate other people can be.'
Jamie McCann had followed Liverpool all over the country, toured their Anfield ground on several occasions, and once waited for hours outside the Sprowston Manor Hotel to meet the team, who were staying there after playing Norwich City at Carrow Road.
On October 23, what would have been Mr McCann's 43rd birthday, a football match will be played in his memory at Cabbell Park, home of Cromer Town, one of the many local clubs for which he once played.
