A Wymondham photographer's shot of a Suffolk stately home's moat has seen him win a worldwide competition.
Jonathan Casey scooped top prize in the 'Gardens' category in the Royal Horticultural Society Photographer of the Year competition for his stunning image of Kentwell Hall Moat.
Mr Casey said: 'My wife is a keen gardener and suggested I enter the competition. Winning the Gardens category is amazing for me and validates my use of time learning photography whilst I have had health problems. I have been creating digital images for my music work for many years but only in the last year have I taken up photography seriously.'
Chris Young, competition judge and editor of The Garden magazine said: 'This eye-catching photo has been skilfully composed, and Jonathan has done well to control the bright, contrasty light of a bright summer's day and bring out the vibrancy of the scene.'
The competition was open to both professional and amateur photographers who were invited to submit images to any of the six adult categories including Seasons, Wildlife and People, and two categories specifically for under-18s.
