Organisers behind a concert in Wymondham hope the night will raise hundreds of pounds for a charity which uses music to help children with disabilities.

Step into Spring has been put together by UEA music student Samantha Jessop, who has worked as a volunteer at the Norwich-based charity Musical Keys for two years.

The concert, which will take place at Wymondham Abbey on April 17 from 7.30pm, includes performances from the choir ENCORE, barbershop quartet Broadside Revival and instrumental trio Elaine Smith, Charlotte Odell and Lauren Causton.

Samantha said: “Musical Keys is very important to me. I've been working with them for two years as a volunteer and I hope one day to find a career associated in some way with music therapy.

“Organising this event has been a big project for me and I hope it will get the support which this good cause deserves.”

Concert tickets are available from Geo Reeve in Market Street, Wymondham, or by calling Samantha on 07811 675203. They are priced £8 for adults, £7 for concessions and under-12s go free.
