A towering spurt of water has burst from a Norwich street this morning.
The jet shot into the air in St Margarets Street, off St Benedicts Street, and Anglian Water said they were working to fix the leak.
Emma Staples from Anglian Water said: 'We're currently tending to a leak in St Margarets Street, Norwich, caused by an issue with the meter chamber.
'No customers are off water, but because the leak is coming through a very small hole and the river level under Norwich creates a lot of natural water pressure, it is creating quite a spectacle.
'We're sorry for any inconvenience caused. Rest assured, with leakage one of our top priorities, we're getting it fixed as a matter or urgency and it should be complete this morning.'
The leak was due to be fixed by midday.
