If so then the Norwich Evening News wants to hear from you.

We're launching a recruitment drive for members of our fine city to become columnists in the Evening News and on our website. We're looking for people with a flair for writing, an interesting story to tell or a strong opinion to share with others.

No subject is off limits – you could write about the city's music scene, the latest fashion trends or goings on at Norwich City Football Club. We will consider columnists for both our news and sport sections.

You may wish to write regularly or just when you feel like it – we still want to hear from you.

And to reward anyone willing to get involved we've teamed up with Cinema City Norwich – who will give two free tickets to one of their screenings for every column of yours that we use.

David Powles, assistant editor of the Evening News, said: 'We try really hard in our newspaper and websites to represent the views of our readers and this new drive will help to make that happen.

'In a city like ours there must be scores of people with an interesting story to tell, which others would be intrigued to read about. These are the people we want to encourage to get involved.

'The struggles of running a small business, ways to stay fit and active, ideas to improve Norwich are just three subjects I'd be interested in reading about – but there are so many more. Please do get in touch if you feel you have something to write about.'

Jenny Allison, marketing manager at Cinema City in Norwich, said: 'We are really excited to be teaming up with the Evening News. Norwich is home to a lot of very talented, creative people and this is a great opportunity for them to express themselves.'

Each column will need to be around 600-800 words long and they can be split into two or three sections if need be.
