National Volunteers' Week draws to a close today – and we want to know how you have been a part of it.

The annual celebration marks the invaluable and inspirational contribution that the UK's 20 million volunteers make, including right here in Norwich.

This Volunteers' Week the Evening News is backing Voluntary Norfolk's community befriending scheme, which provides a friendly face for people suffering from isolation.

But we know there are thousands of other ways that people in and Norwich are making a difference and helping those around them by volunteering.

It could be organising a regular litter-pick in your local park, coaching a kids' football team or giving up a couple of hours a week to work in a charity shop – we want to hear about it.

Tell us why you do what you do, the difference it makes and why others should do the same.

You can post your contributions below or email details and pictures to mark.shields@archant.co.uk
