Seven flood alert warnings for along the Suffolk coast and Broads areas of Norfolk are no longer in force, the Environment Agency have confirmed.
The alerts were put in place last night for the Suffolk Coast from Lowestoft to Bawdsey; the Tidal Deben Estuary; the Suffolk Coast at Southwold; the Suffolk and Essex Coast from Felixstowe to Clacton including Orwell and Stour Estuaries; Tidal Rivers Bure from Wroxham Bridge, Ant, and Thurne from Hickling to Breydon Water, theTidal River Waveney from Ellingham to Breydon Water and the Tidal River Yare from Thorpe St Andrew to Breydon Water.
With expected high tides on the Suffolk coast and high levels expected due to tide locking in the Norfolk Broads for between 7.45pm and 9.45pm last night, the Enivronment Agency said that the seven warnings were 'no longer in force' and the flood alerts had 'been removed.'
