Two people were arrested in relation to drugs offences at a Norwich pub last night.
Police officers executed a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act at the Firs pub in Cromer Road, Hellesdon.
A member of the staff at the premises was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply controlled drugs. A male was also arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
Members of Hellesdon Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) and Norfolk Tactical Unit worked alongside Norfolk police's specialised licensing team to execute the warrant.
Inspector Brian Pincher, who heads the Hellesdon SNT, said: 'This warrant was part of our ongoing work with licensed premises in the area and was a very good result for the team and our partner agencies.
'Officers carried out reassurance visits to nearby homes and it was clear the operation was positively received by local people.'
