Train enthusiasts in Norfolk will be able to catch a glimpse of Britain’s most luxurious train later this month.

The Northern Belle, sister train to the famous Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, will set off from Norwich station on a day-return trip to Bristol and Bath.

The seven luxurious Pullman carriages which are oulled by a vintage diesel locomotive, offer passengers the chance to sample the opulence of 1930s rail travel.

The day trip will set off at 07:30 on 23 June, making a stop at Ipswich, before heading west.

The lucky few are offered a three course brunch in the morning followed by a champagne reception and five course dinner on the journey back to Norfolk.

The Northern Belle has been operating to castles and places of interest since 2000.
