Greater Anglia has said that while it will try to run normal services on Thursday, March 1, disruptions were possible due to continued adverse weather conditions.

In a statement the rail service said: 'Our aim to try to run a full normal service again (on Thursday).

'However, based on the forecast and experience of conditions so far this week, there is a risk of delays, disruption and service alterations. 'It is also may not be possible to run services on some of the routes off the main lines if the conditions are very difficult again.

'We will, though, do our best to run as many services as we can.'

One of the operators of Norwich's park and ride sites said it would not be running buses until it had assessed the conditions in the morning.

Konectbus said it will provide an update on the situation at 7am.
