Police warn drivers to avoid area around Little Mix concert

Police have warned people to avoid the area around Earlham Park tonight due the Little Mix concert.
Thousands are set to descend on the city park as the world's biggest girlband, consisting of Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, return to Norwich.
Ahead of the gig, which starts from 5pm, Norfolk Constabulary warned drivers to avoid the area around the park.
The force tweeted: 'Going to the @LittleMix concert? Use local bus services or the pick-up and drop off facility located at UEA car park accessed off University Drive.
'Expect nearby roads to be busy and avoid the area if possible.'

A single fare of £2 per person will be offered to all passengers to the city centre.
But extra park and ride buses, which were due to run from the Costessey park and ride site and County Hall to the show at Earlham Park, have been cancelled due to 'logistical and safety reasons'.A statement on the Konectbus Facebook page said: 'We have been asked not to operate Park & Ride routes to Earlham Park (Little Mix concert) on Saturday 21 July 2018 by Norwich City Council due to safety and crowd control reasons.'All concert attendees are encouraged to use local bus services or use the pick up and drop off facility located at UEA car park accessed off University Drive.'Little Mix will be joined on the bill by fellow X Factor winners Rak-Su and the Germein Sisters. The set list includes well known hits such as Black Magic and Wings as well as new single Only You.Gates open at 5pm at tickets and tickets are still available to buy on the day via the on site box office.Ticket prices start at £47.75 and under-14s must be accompanied by a paying adult.
