A Mercedes driver has been taken to hospital to be treated for injuries sustained in a crash on the A47.
Police were called to the Acle Straight at 10am following reports of a crash involving a Nissan and a Mercedes.
Firefighters and paramedics were also called to the scene, around half a mile from the Acle New Road roundabout in Great Yarmouth.
Norfolk Fire and Rescue said crews from Great Yarmouth and Gorleston used hydraulic rescue equipment to release the driver from his car.
The Mercedes driver was then taken to the James Paget University Hospital for treatment, a spokesperson for Norfolk Police said.
The road was initially closed but one lane reopened at 11.28am.
A contraflow system was put in place while that lane was shut as emergency services worked to make the scene safe.
The Norfolk and Suffolk Roads and Armed Policing Team said the road had fully reopened shortly before midday.
