The host of Saturday Kitchen will be doing three shows a day demonstrating a selection of mouth-watering recipes at the Cookery Theatre, which this year includes more seating, big screens and a sound system.

The event is being staged at the Costessey showground next Wednesday and Thursday and, as always, food will be a big attraction for the estimated 90,000 visitors.

'We're delighted to welcome James Martin to Norfolk to join some of the county's top chefs,' said show chief executive Greg Smith.

'The cookery theatre is one of our most popular attractions at the show. Working with our sponsors, Adnams, we provide a brilliant showcase for the very best food and drink in the region, served up by the UK's finest chefs.

'Whether it's asking questions, getting involved or simply watching the chefs, the Adnams Food and Drink Experience is a show within the show.'

Local chef and food writer, Mary Kemp, will host the cookery theatre.

Also demonstrating their skills in the cookery theatre will be Chris Coubrough, owner of The Crown Hotel in Wells and The Ship Hotel in Brancaster, and local butcher Arthur Howell, who was the East Anglian Champion in the Farm Shop and Deli Awards 2014.

Richard Bainbridge, head chef at Morston Hall; pastry chef and owner of Macarons & More, Tim Kinnaird; Galton Blackiston, chef patron of Michelen-starred Morston Hall; Richard Hughes, from The Lavender House in Brundall, and Vanessa Scott, patron of the Norfolk Food & Drink Festival and a director of Strattons Hotel in Swaffham, will also be cooking up a treat.
