The Thorpe Hamlet Midsummer Garden Festival is being organised by St Matthew's Church at the top of Gas Hill in the city.

A share of proceeds from the festival, which will take place on Saturday, June 19 and Sunday, June 20, will go to Pabulum - Age Concern Norfolk's project supporting elderly people with dementia.

Pabulum uses reminiscence-based activities, including singing and musical groups, to stimulate the long-term memories of people affected by dementia.

It also offers a much-needed break and support network for carers.

Tickets (valid for both days) are available for £4.50 in advance from Anne Farrow by telephoning 01603 624801 or by emailing annefarrow@fsmail.net

They can also be bought for £5 on the day.
