The Sussex-based band, whose top ten hits Fill My Little World Right Up and Never Be Lonely have secured two successful studio albums to date, will join a line-up that includes Brit Award winners Florence and the Machine and indie rockers Vampire Weekend.

The event, on the Henham estate between Beccles and Southwold, is back this summer for a fifth year running from July 15 to 18.

Merseyside band The Coral have also been confirmed to play in The Word Arena this year alongside Kirstin Hersh, former lead singer with the Throwing Muses, and Canadian rockers Black Mountain.

The lakeside Sunrise Arena will host a range of new acts, including Girls, Archie Bronson Outfit, Darwin Deez and Nadine Shah.

Other big names already confirmed for the festival include Australian duo Empire of the Sun, Belle and Sebastian and The Maccabees.

Tickets for Latitude are now on sale. Weekend tickets cost �115. Day tickets for Friday, Saturday and Sunday cost �65, all subject to booking fees.
