The Hamlet welcomed an enthusiastic team of volunteers to decorate the care rooms at the charity's children's centre in Johnson Place.
Staff from Tesco Norwich Extra, in Drayton, helped revamp the building.
Emma Taylor, who works at Tesco Norwich Extra, was also part of the decorating team. She said that her son Eli Taylor, who has Down's Syndrome, regularly attends The Hamlet's sessions.
She added: 'This is our chance to give something back as they have been so supportive to our family. Eli will start at Early Explorers pre-school in September so The Hamlet will still be a huge part of our lives.'
The care rooms are a facility at Johnson Place, with state of the art equipment.
The group stencilled the walls and painted them in bright colours.
Matt Garlinge, senior manager at The Hamlet Children's Services, said: 'This transformation has made these spaces a lot more inviting and user friendly to all those children who use it.'
