Take That fans are today making their voices heard in a bid to get the pop act to hold a second concert at Carrow Road next year.

Hundreds of people were left heartbroken on Friday when tickets on general sale for their gig in June sold out within 90 minutes of going online.

But with extra dates added to cities elsewhere on their tour due to demand, there are hopes the same could happen in Norwich.

And now, fans of the three-strong outfit are calling for another concert as part of their Wonderland Live tour.

When the tour dates were first announced, Norwich, Swansea and Dublin had one show each.

Dublin was given a second concert to cope with demand, and additional shows were added to London, Glasgow, Manchester and Birmingham.

Only Norwich and Swansea have been left with one gig.

More than 30,000 people will fill Norwich City’s stadium when Mark Owen, Gary Barlow and Howard Donald head to the city on June 16.

Tickets for the concert went on general sale at 9.30am on Friday and most were bought within 90 minutes.

Take That are well known for elaborate live shows, and organisers have said the 2017 tour will “bring fans their most exciting live experience to date”.

Fans from across the county vented their frustrations on social media after missing out on tickets to the gig.

On Facebook, Gillian Hurn wrote: “My daughter missed out as the man came to repair her alarm system and by the time he finished the tickets were sold out; this is rubbed on by the fact her brother did get tickets.”

And Kate Cullum wrote: “Gutted I missed out as I was asleep with a migraine, couldn’t get a ticket when I tried.”

Jane Randall added: “We didn’t get a look in and have travelled to see them before....Really wanted to be able to go nearer to home !!!”

Meanwhile, on Twitter, user Matt Read said: “In Florida on holiday and was up at 3.30am to get ready to get tickets for the gf and mum to end up with nothing.”

Meanwhile, Jasmine Barlow posted: “PLEASE ANOTHER DATE AT NORWICH !!!!!!”
