Photographers in Norfolk hoping to catch a glimpse of tonight's super blue moon could be in luck.
The Met Office's forecast suggests the skies should stay clear for most of the evening while the rare lunar phenomenon appears.
According to NASA, a super blue moon occurs when the moon is closer to Earth in its orbit, making it appear larger and brighter. This particular moon should be about 14pc brighter than usual.
This celestial event is also special because its's the second full moon of the month, commonly known as a blue moon.
Earlier today, across the western hemisphere, stargazers were also treated to a total lunar eclipse, with a reddish tint known as a blood moon. This combined with the other factors created a super blue blood moon - a phenomenon that hasn't occured in 150 years.
