Gusts of up to 50mph could hit parts of North Norfolk today as a result of Storm Callum.

Norwich-based forecaster Weatherquest said the coast will bear the brunt of the bad weather, but warned the rest of Norfolk could see winds reach more than 40mph.

Gusts are expected to peak between 2pm and 4pm.

Forecaster Fred Best said temperatures will be around 20C during the day, but will only fall to around 17C during the night.

'It is going to be quite a mild night for much of Norfolk,' he added.

Temperatures could rise to 23C on Saturday for parts of the county, and will be 'fairly dry', Mr Best said.

However, there is a risk of showers in West Norfolk in the afternoon.

Rain is forecast for Sunday and temperatures could drop to around 15C to 17C.
