Staff at one of Norwich's best-known department stores have helped raise hundreds of pounds for a brave youngster.
Jarrold Staff Charity Challenge, which raises funds for local charities and causes nominated by Jarrold staff, have presented Ella Kett with a cheque for 500.
The nine-year-old suffers from a rare condition known as Cornelia de Lange Syndrome (CdLS) which affects growth, speech, mobility, mental health, learning and most areas of development.
A recent MRI scan also revealed that Ella has a curvature of the spine and has suffered damage to one kidney.
The money will help the Parkisde School pupil, who lives near Anglia Square, and her family with their travel expenses as they attend CdLS conferences to seek more help from medical experts with greater knowledge of her condition.
