A Sprowston family is appealing for the public to support a charity ball.
The ball, in aid of Quidenham hospice, will be on Saturday, March 12, at Sprowston Manor Hotel.
The hospice, which is run by East Anglia's Children's Hospices (Each), has helped 18-month-old Jackson Robinson and his parents Karen and Paul, from Foxburrow Road.
The yougster has auto-immune enteropathy, a very rare condition that occurs when the body's own immune system attacks the intestinal wall and affects the way it absorbs.
Jackson is fed through a tube for 20 hours a day, and because he is crawling this means constant supervision so he does not pull out the tube.
The black tie ball, which has been sponsored by Fine estate agents, will include music by The Scratch Band, a three-course meal, an auction and a raffle.
The familoy are hoping to raise much-needed money to fund Quidenham's work for children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions and to support their families.
Tickets are 35 and available from Jackson's grandma Wendy Alcock on 01603 485610 or email walcock@itsadsl.net.
