Up and coming singer-songwriter Zarah Jones has just finished filming her first solo music video across Norfolk.

The video for her track Twisted Elegance, which is due to be released on national television in January 2012, has been filmed in Norwich, Cromer, Sea Palling and wrapped up at Sprowston Manor after a six-day shoot.

Zarah, 27 and from Norwich, hopes the video, which was filmed by media company CMedia and cost 10,000 to produce, will propel her into the big time.

Zarah said: 'I have worked in collaboration with various artists in the past but I have been working towards my own album for over two years now.

'My solo video is my own work and is just a way of introducing myself as a solo artist.

'I have done different types of music in the past but my main forte is soul and rhythm and blues.

'People will be able to see what I'm all about and it's all original.'

Though she has been singing for 12 years and attended the Theatre Royal school for performing arts, Zarah's career took off after winning the Mall Stars competition at the Castle Mall, Norwich in 2007.

Since then, she has performed at nightclubs and festivals across the country with artists such as Remo Skilla and DJ Krissi B.
