A Norfolk artist has created a mudsterpiece to raise awareness about mental health.

The artist known as Ruddy Muddy, from Wymondham, and his co-creator Damsel Dragonfly have contributed to Ford's mental health awareness campaign.

Ford, which is working with the mental health charity Time To Change, said it was aiming to spread the message 'don't let mental health be the elephant in the transit' with Ruddy Muddy's new van art of elephants on a Ford van.

As well as this message, the van reads 'If your mate's acting differently act!'

The artist shared the campaign on his Twitter page with the hashtag 'AskTwice'.

When asked about what the campaign meant to him, he said: 'I have had family and friends touched by mental health and have seen the impact. Charlie Hodson being one and I had to do this for him and others. He is amazing.'

Ruddy Muddy discovered his talent for working with mud after finger-painting his van to hide expletives from his children.

Since then he has become famous for his mud-based art work, which ranges from pop-culture pieces to memorials and charity campaigns.
