Infamous Swiss oddball Reverend Beat-Man is heading to Norwich as part of his mission to preach a gospel of punk-blues that have made him a cult figure.
Beat Zeller, better known as Beat-Man, is the head honcho of independent Voodoo Rhythm Records and previously led Swiss psychobilly band The Monsters, before taking on his rock'n'roll evangelist alter-ego Reverend Beat-Man.
The musician, DJ and record company owner will be bringing his notoriously outlandish and idiosyncratic live show to Epic Studios in Norwich on May 15.
A one-man band he plays guitar and drums, performing a 'sacrament' of primitive rock'n'roll and blues-fuelled trash, garage and punk. He describes his influences as Howlin' Wolf and Hasil Adkins.
The Norwich gig, part of a short UK tour, will see him joined by frequent collaborator 'Sister' Nicole Izobel Garcia, a Califoanian multi-instrumentalist and vocalist with a sultry voice of the type you expect to be crooning 1920s jazz.
