Norfolk celebrity chef Delia Smith has become the new patron of a Norwich cafe and resource centre.
Revelation Cafe and Christian Resource Centre announced the patronage Mrs Smith, a cook, television presenter and Norwich City joint majority shareholder, following a recent visit to the centre where she met with staff and volunteers.
Philip Talbot, chair of trustees said: 'Delia has taken a great interest in the work at Revelation and it is a privilege to have her name associated with us.
'Delia joins Lord Dannatt as patrons of this unique ecumenical charitable enterprise situated in St Michael at Plea church on the corner of Redwell Street and Queen St in Norwich.'
As well as operating as a tea room, Revelation also has a shop selling new and second hand books on site and online.
